It’s still early when Noon café begins to come alive. Inside, nothing is left to chance right down to the cup sitting on the counter, handmade by Margot. Two perspectives. One city to discover.
Renaud and Margot are married, Lyon locals by choice, and entrepreneurs. Together, they bring to life two worlds that reflect who they are. Renaud with the café he created, and Margot with the ceramics she shapes in her studio. For them, the city isn’t simply something to look at. It’s something to experience and draw inspiration from every day.
Renaud: Starting over instead of following a well-trodden path
Before Noon, there were high-end restaurants, renowned kitchens and well-known addresses. The kind of experience that could have led to a comfortable career following a well-known path. Renaud chose the opposite direction and started from scratch, without a safety net, to build a place of his own.

He imagined a welcoming canteen-style café designed to live throughout the day.
A place where you can start with a coffee, stop for lunch, work for a few hours or simply take your time to slow down and enjoy. More than a coffee shop or a restaurant, Noon café was created as a place to live and connect at the heart of the neighborhood.
That choice comes with a fast-paced everyday rhythm. From the early hours of the morning, Renaud prepares the pastries and gets production underway before moving on to the kitchen and service. The café gradually fills up, the day picks up pace, and the roles shift as the hours go by.
That same attention to detail extends beyond the kitchen. You can find it in the tableware serving the dishes, designed and shaped by ceramist Margot Belfer for her eponymous brand, Margot Belfer.
Margot: Molding clay and a life of her own
Just a few steps from Noon, Margot shapes the ceramic pieces that eventually find their place on the café’s tables. Each cup and plate is imagined and made by hand, in a process where material, patience and precision all play an essential role.

The tableware becomes a true extension of Noon’s world. While Renaud brings the café to life every day, Margot brings her craft through the pieces she creates.
Two activities, working side by side, each telling the same story in their own way. A desire to create authentic places, considered down to the smallest detail.
Between coffee, ceramics, and the streets of Lyon
What truly sets Noon and Margot Belfer apart isn’t simply their technical expertise, but the way they have chosen to make their places part of the city.

Both Margot’s and Renaud’s worlds are shaped everyday by the people they meet, the things that inspire them and the habits that gradually form around them.
Their two addresses have become part of a neighborhood they aren’t trying to transform but simply bring to life in their own way.
It’s an approach that slowly leaves its mark, built through connections, encounters and the energy that belongs to places we eventually come to think of as our own.
Adventure, the Palladium way
At Palladium, adventure begins wherever your feet hit the ground. It can be found in streets you already know as much as in unexpected detours and in the desire to keep moving.
With Noon café and Margot Belfer, the city becomes an everyday playground for exploration. A place to move through, draw inspiration from, build something in and leave your mark on.
On Renaud’s feet, the Pampa Hi, and Margot’s Pampa Oxford, Palladium joins them on this urban adventure between work, creativity and movement with footwear made to keep up with the rhythm of the streets.
